FAQ
Questions, answered straight.
Do you book the cab?
No. One of you books an Uber or Ola in your own app. We just help you find each other.
Is it safe to share with a stranger?
You see first names, ratings and ID badges before you ask. Women can choose women-only groups, and report and block are always one tap away.
How is the fare split?
By distance: whoever rides further pays more, down to the rupee. Everyone pays the booker in their own UPI app. We never see the money.
Who sees my email or phone number?
Nobody, ever. Others see only your first name and your area, like "Sector 29, Gurgaon".
What happens to my ID photos?
They're used only for the check, then deleted: within 7 days at the latest.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Namastute runs in your browser. You can add it to your home screen like an app, with no app store needed.
